Secure programming in Germany

The OTP tokens are reprogrammed by us in Germany to guarantee you maximum security. The tokens are programmed on a programming station that is independent of the company network. In the process, a cryptographically strong seed is generated. This is checked with regard to its cryptographic strength and, if necessary, generated again until it is sufficiently strong. Depending on the type of token, the seeds are programmed via a contact (USB) or contactless (RFID/NFC) connection. A transmission of the seeds is encrypted via a download link via https. The data is stored on a server hosted by us in the data center. The download is protected with a password. In addition, the seed file is also encrypted with a password. Upon request, we will provide you with the hash value of the seed file. It is also possible for you to be present during the programming on site or even to carry out the programming of the seeds yourself if you wish. For security reasons, the seeds are kept for a maximum of 15 working days. Afterwards they will be irrevocably deleted from our systems.
