OCR315-E USB OCR Swipe Reader

The OCR315-E is a compact and robust OCR reader. It can be attached easily to a variety of handheld, ultramobile PCs, tablets, standard desktop keyboards and monitors. It also functions as a standalone unit as part of the data capture process, such as Know Your Customer, age verification and airport check-in. The interface connection is via USB. The track length and single slot design are optimized to ensure that passports and ID cards are correctly aligned for consistent and accurate reading.

The bidirectional reader can readmachine-readable passports (MRP), visas (MRV), US and international residence permits as well as European and other national ID cards conforming to ICAO 9303 and ISO/IEC 7501-1 (2 and 3-line MRZ). It will also read ISO/IEC 18013-1.
