The smart card reader is designed to meet security and regulatory requirements that require two-factor authentication of users for access to workstations and applications. As part of HID Global's ActivID® Tap Authentication™ solution, the reader is not only secure, but also user-friendly.
All that is required is to briefly hold the card up to a device to automatically generate a one-time password (OTP) for secure cloud login.
